Cedar Hill, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Cedar Hill man’s backyard has become littered with everything from hypodermic needles to old wood with rusty nails in it after weeks of heavy rains.

Homeowner Jacob Hunder says he’s been complaining to the city since 2015 about the trash that freely flows in from a drainage ditch. He says he can’t even allow his 2-year old son in the backyard.

Cedar Hill officials told WFAA-TV that funds for a new drainage system were approved in September of 2017, but construction for the project will begin by at least early 2019.
