Collin County (WBAP/KLIF News) – Early voting the March Primary elections ends Friday, March 2nd.
The polls will be upon from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Collin County Election Administrator Bruce Sherbet expects big crowds.
“If you’re going to vote on the last day it’s always best to do it mid-morning mid-afternoon if you can,” he said.
Sherbet said voter turnout has been better than recent years and credits the county’s growth.
“We have 114,000 more registered voters than we did four years ago on the most comparable gubernatorial election,” he said.
Election officials in Collin County are expecting almost 50,000 people to have cast their ballots early by the end of the day Friday.
The March primary election is Tuesday, March 6th.
