Psychologist Says Students Can Benefit From Normalcy

PARKLAND, FL (KLIF/WBAP) — Students and Teachers returned to class Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, one week after 17 students and teachers were killed in a mass shooting.

They’ll have a limited schedule today, as they attempt to return to their normal routines.

A traumatic event, like this one, must be tough for people of any age to deal with, let alone high school students.

Dave talked with Clinical Forensic Psychologist Dr. John Huber with Mainstream Mental Health for some insight, as well as what the suspected gunman might have been thinking before carrying out the attack.
