PROSPER(WBAP/KLIF)- The rapidly growing town of Prosper is almost doubling the size of its largest park.
Frontier Park North almost doubles the close to 80 acres the adjoining Frontier Park already has and includes new synthetic soccer, baseball and lacrosse fields and extends the granite loop trail to over a mile.
The competition for park business is heating up in Denton and Collin Counties with Prosper’s neighbor to the South, Frisco recently purchasing close to 400 acres of land for new athletic complexes.
The city of Propser’s population has more than doubled in less than ten years.
