NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A North Richland Hills mother and son were found dead in an apparent murder suicide this week.
The North Richland Hills Police Department said on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., officers received a call from a caretaker to the home on Wedgeview Drive near Bedford Euless Road regarding a death investigation.
When officers arrived, they found 95-year-old Beatrice Thomason and 61-year-old James Thomason dead from gunshot wounds.
According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, James Thomason allegedly shot his mother before turning the gun on himself.
Investigators said they’re have been no prior calls to the home for any kind of domestic disturbance.
The motive for the killings is unknown.
