Parkland, Florida (WBAP/KLIF) – Teachers will return to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in South Florida on Friday. Last week, a former student is accused of going on a mass shooting spree that killed 17 people.
Journalism teacher Sarah Lerner told KLIF’s “Dave and Amy” students are slated to return to the classroom next Tuesday. She says there will be counselors in every classroom until further notice. The Broward County School Superintendent told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel the district will tear down the freshman building where the shooting happened. The suspected shooter is charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.
