DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The State Fair of Texas has announced its theme for the 2018 season. “Celebrating Texas Innovation” was chosen to highlight innovations, as well as technological and scientific milestones that were introduced in the Lone Star State, according to a press release. “We believe that innovation stems from education”, said Mitchell Glieber, State Fair of Texas president. The Fair will be launching a social media campaign to spotlight significant Texans and Texas organizations whose work and innovations have imprinted on the state’s history and future. The 2018 State Fair of Texas runs from Friday, September 28 through Sunday, October 21 at Fair Park in Dallas.
