FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF) – A construction worker is recovering after being cut from equipment he was caught in at a new housing development in Frisco.
Captain Kevin Haines with the Frisco Fire Department says they realized quickly it was going to be difficult to free the man.
“We called for a field amputation team out of Medical City Plano, at which time an Air Medical Ambulance picked him up and brought him to the scene,” Haines said.
The construction worker was eventually taken to a hospital in stable condition after his leg was amputated.
