Farmers Branch, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Super Blue Blood Moon was visible from about 5:50 until 7:00 this morning. Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch hosted a viewing party attended by dozens.
The Texas Astronomical Society partnered with Brookhaven College to host the event.
One witness, identified as Holly Harris woke up early to witness what many at the event called a once in a lifetime experience.
Harris told our Scott Sidway, “I just like anything in the community that’s available that let’s us see the world around us. I really like it.”
The next super Blue Blood Moon will happen in 19 years.

Here’s the best photo I could manage on my iPhone with cold fingers, pointed through a set of binoculars at Brookhaven College. Tons of people out here soaking it in though. pic.twitter.com/n0kiDFGgYh
