Attorney General Threatens Suit if DACA Remains

DALLAS (KLIF/WBAP) — Texas’ Attoney General is asking the Supreme Court to review a ruling that halted the shutdown of the Defered Action for Childhood Arivals,  or DACA.

President Trump announced an end to DACA, saying he’ll shut down the program by March. However, an appeals  court in California ruled the feds can’t just abruptly end DACA and put a stop to the shutdown.

State Attorney General Ken Paxton says he wants the shutdown reinstated immediately, and filed a motion with the Supreme Court saying if the program isn’t shut down by Summer, he’ll sue.

Paxton joined Dave & Amy on the Morning Drive, to talk Imigration, re-election, and even bout his wife’s political goals.
