Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – I-30 was completely shut down for several hours Saturday morning near Fair Park by the Dallas Police bomb squad. A man who parked his vehicle early Saturday on the westbound I-30 shoulder near 1st Avenue either jumped or fell onto the nearby DART tracks. He was killed, and the first police officers on the scene found he was carrying a package that had wires coming out of it. Both sides of I-30 were shut down until the bomb squad finished its investigation, and gave the all-clear.
