Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A new Hooters is opening near Abilene Christian University next week, prompting school officials to tell students – don’t apply for a job there.
Local Abiliene station KTXS reports that the school’s PR director says they’ve asked students to consider whether Hooters represents something they really want to support based on their faith, and the value Hooters places on women.
The new sport will be just minutes from campus. They’re hiring a new general manager, kitchen staff and Hooters girls.
Abilene’s handbook challenges students to make decisions that “ultimately glorify God” whether on or off campus; decisions which could come up for review at any time.
