Survey Finds Millennials More Likely to Talk Money

DALLAS (KLIF/WBAP) — Do you talk about how much you make with your coworkers?

It used to be taboo, but now a new Cashlorette survey shows 30% of millennials in the study say they’re comfortable discussing their salaries with coworkers.

That’s compared to just 8% of baby boomers.

Chris Weller, an author at Business Insider, says he can come up with a few reasons why that is.

They range from the obvious, like the fact that millennials all share the same financial struggles and worries… to valuing transparency.

You’ll find the complete list here.

Producer Robyn Geske joined Dave & Amy Thursday morning to talk about it.
