(WBAP/KLIF) – U.S. Customs and Border protection seized nearly $300,000 worth of meth at DFW Airport.
The liquid methamphetamine came from China bound for Memphis destined for Fort Worth. That according to a statement from Customs saying intercepting illegal drugs is a top priority.
Two boxes of unlabeled bottles declared to be printing ink turned out to be narcotics.
The bottles had over 65 pounds of liquid meth with an estimated value of $297,000.
Homeland Security is now handling the investigation.
