Three Texas Breweries are Headed Back to Court Over Distribution Contracts

Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – It’s back to court for three Texas breweries over a law they say is unconstitutional.

Peticolas Brewing in Dallas, Revolver Brewing in Granbury, and Live Oak Brewing in Austin are fighting against a 2013 law that bars them from making money for contracting with a distributor, but allows distributors to do so.

A judge last year sided with the breweries, but a Texas appeals court recently said, in part, the law avoids conflicts of interest between alcohol manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
