Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – It’s believed that a bright red substance spotted near White Rock Creek may be a detergent used at car washes. The substance was first spotted by the Dallas Police Department helicopter unit.
The substance was draining into a ditch on the property owned by Texas Totes and Barrels, an agricultural service on Beale Street.

Lab testing will confirm exactly what the substance is in about two weeks. Charges of ‘unlawful discharge’ could be forthcoming.
The Dallas City Marshal’s Environment Crimes Unit is investigating.
