Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The murder trial for a former Farmers Branch police officer begins today.
Ken Johnson was indicted last year after he allegedly chased two 16 year old boys he believed to be breaking into his car.
After the chase, police say Johnson, who was off duty and out of uniform at the time, shot the boys, killing one of them and wounding the other in the head.
Today, jury selection will begin.
Johnson is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
