Grapevine Motorcycle Officer Released from Hospital Following Crash

GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas motorcycle Officer is out of the hospital after being severely injured last month.

Grapevine Police Officer R.J. Hudson suffered more than 20 broken bones and a punctured lung in the October crash. He said Wednesday that he’s thankful for all of the support and many visits he received from family and fellow officers.

“The quick response of the Police Department to the scene of the crash and the quick response of the Fire Department saved my life,” Hudson said. “A lot of my injuries were time sensitive.”

Hudson is home just in time for the Holiday’s which he said he will spend with his wife and daughter.
