Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – U.S. airlines are predicting a 3% increase in holiday travel this Thanksgiving.
Airline trade group “Airlines for America” expects 28 and a half million Americans to fly during the 12 day holiday period.
As usual the Sunday after Thanksgiving will almost certainly be the busiest travel day with about 3 million people returning from their destinations.
The airlines say they’ll be ready.
They’re adding more seats to their schedules than they expect to need.
