No bribery charges brought against Texas Attorney General

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Prosecutors have closed a bribery investigation without filing charges against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. They did so after a judge determined a personal relationship between an executive and Paxton nullified bribery laws. The Attorney General had received nearly $550,000 in donations from James Webb for legal expenses while he was contesting charges in another case that he had misled investors. Paxton still faces felony securities fraud charges in that case.
