Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – DFW is not on a short list of suggested contenders for Amazon’s new headquarters. Moody’s Analytics says it has considered the things Amazon says it wants in the city it chooses for its second headquarters, and Dallas – Fort Worth isn’t it. About a dozen north Texas cities expressed interest in luring Amazon. The Dallas and Fort Worth Chambers of Commerce submitted a joint pitch on behalf of the metroplex, but it didn’t even break into Moody’s top ten. Moody’s thinks the Austin/Round Rock metropolitan area is what Amazon is looking for. Its analysis says Texas’ capitol city ticks off the most boxes when it comes to cost of living, transportation, business environment, and geography. The final choice, of course, is Amazon’s alone.
