DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Dallas Police Department released a description of the car used in one of two recent sexual assaults in Deep Ellum.
Investigators said the assaults took place within an hour of one another the evening of October 21st.
The victim in one of the assaults jumped from the car to escape the suspect.
Chief Deputy Thomas Castro said the car is a gold Mercedes-Benz convertible with a black soft top.
“We don’t know exactly how fast but that was her way of getting away from this individual,” he said.
The department released surveillance video of the suspect on Monday and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
“We’re asking if anybody saw this girl jump out of a vehicle. We ask them to come forward and give us that information,” he said.
The second victim’s ordeal ended when her boyfriend managed to run to her location and fight off the suspect.
The suspect is described as a 20-30 year old Black man, 5’10” tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
