GRAPEVINE(WBAP/KLIF) – DFW International Airport is using man’s best friend to help travelers feel better about flying. The pet therapy program, that started with just 12 dogs in 2016 has now grown to 60 according to the Airport’s David Magana.
“It’s remarkable to spend a little time walking with a therapy dog through the terminals because the way people respond, they bring smiles and warm feelings wherever they go.”
Frequent flyers will notice the dog and their handlers in orange vests, who volunteer a few hours a week.
