Texas Legislator Apologizes for Twitter War with Conservative Activist

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — State Representative Jason Villalba, R-Dallas, got caught up in a Twitter war he later apologized for.

Last Friday, local political consultant and conservative activist Aaron Harris tweeted Villalba, saying the Texas legislature wouldn’t miss him if he was replaced.

Villalba did not take kindly to the message, replying by calling Harris fat and stupid, adding that Harris does not have a family.

He apologized the next day, which brought on a reply from Harris, who asked how drunk Villalba was when he went on the offensive. Villalba responded by saying his apology was sincere.
