(WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliot and the NFL Players Association are expected to file an injunction in the Southern District of New York against the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision to uphold Elliot’s six game suspension from the league.
The injunction is similar to the order granted by a Sherman Judge that was later overturned by the 5th Circuit Court in New Orleans. As of now, Elliot can’t play Sunday. He won’t be able to play unless the New York Judge grants the injunction.
Elliot was suspended by the league for violating its domestic violence policy. He was never criminally charged.
