Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – Japanese car makers Toyota and Mazda are insisting that states interested in landing their proposed joint $1.5 billion car factory provide the companies with at least a $1 billion in incentives. Twelve states are in the running, including Texas which already is home to Toyota’s North American headquarters in Plano, and a large truck plant in San Antonio. The shared Toyota/ Mazda plant is supported by President Trump, and is planned to open in 2021.
