STEPHENVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) — Stephenville Police are looking for a man accused of aggravated assault who also was at the center of a mistaken active shooter report.
Somebody called into the department Tuesday night around 5:30 reporting a man with a gun, but police eventually learned that the suspect, 41 year-old Garrett Frey, did not actually fire a shot.

Tarleton State University put out a tweet saying the campus was not in danger because the incident was miles away.
