DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A federal appeals court will hear the NFL’s case against a Texas judge’s decision to block the 6-game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Zeke Elliott.
The league and the National Football League Player’s Association will present arguments in front of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals October 2nd in New Orleans.
The court will decide whether or not to over-rule the injunction.
Elliott will be able to play in the next two Cowboys games before the hearing is held.
He was suspended by the league for violating its domestic violence policy after an ex-girlfriend claimed he abused her.
No criminal charges were ever filed.
