PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – A vigil Wednesday night in Plano will honor the people killed in a mass shooting earlier this month and shed light on domestic violence.
The Junior League of Collin County is inviting the public to the candle light vigil at McCall park in downtown Plano as a show of unity against domestic violence. Group leaders say the vigil will also serve as a way to pay respects to the eight people killed at a football watch party after Spencer Hight opened fire on his ex-wife and her friends.

Junior League membership includes nearly 1,000 women from cities in Collin County, including Plano, Allen, Frisco and McKinney who value Service, Respect, and Leadership.
The vigil will start at 6:30, Wednesday.
