SHERMAN (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliott may not be on the sidelines much this season.
A federal judge granted a temporary restraining order against the National Football League in regards to the six-game suspension it handed down to Elliott last month for violating the league’s domestic violence policy.
The ruling blocks the suspension for now.
The NFL filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Elliott can play until that decision is made.
If the motion is denied, Elliott could play the whole season.
The suspension came after Elliott’s ex-girlfriend made accusations of domestic violence last year.
No criminal charges were ever filed.
