DENTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – The University of North Texas announced Wednesday that it will host Donald Trump Junior as part of its Kuehne Speaker Series this Fall.
Trump Junior will join Melissa Francis, a Fox News Channel Anchor, at the AT&T Stadium on October 24, 2017.
Past speakers include Charles Gasparino and Kimberly Guilfoyle of Fox News, former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani and Texas Billionaire T. Boone Pickens.
According to the UNT website, the Kuehne Speaker Series was established in 2013 to “provide a forum to engage in conversation about topics of national and global relevance.”
The talks are named after Ernie Kuehne, a UNT alumnus, who serves on the President’s Leadership Board and is a member of The McConnell Society at UNT.
The website credits Kuehne for the success of the series.
“Ernie’s vision of bringing relevant speakers to Dallas on behalf of UNT resulted in the establishment of the UNT Kuehne Speaker Series. He pledged an initial gift of $300,000 to launch the series and helped raise an additional $1.5 million to ensure sustainability. Today, the lecture series is highly recognized for the nationally prominent speakers it draws.”
