Two hurt in southeast Texas plane crash

Bullard (WBAP/KLIF) – The two occupants of a single engine private plane were injured when they crashed alongside Highway 69 some 100 miles southeast of Dallas. They had taken off from Tyler Pounds Regional Airport shortly before their plane went down, pitching nose-first into the ground in full view of several passing vehicles. Why they crashed has not yet been determined.  The F.A.A. is investigating.
