Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two horses died in an early Thursday morning barn fire in southeast Dallas. The blaze was reported by passers-by who saw the barn burning near Prairie Creek Road and St. Augustine Drive. Firefighters managed to get more than a dozen horses out of their stalls, but two were later found dead inside the structure. It took several hours to round up the surviving horses that were running free on the property after the blaze.
