DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Irving – The Irving Mall was evacuated Monday night after a two alarm fire at an electronics store caused heavy smoke.
The call came in around 9:15 from the Express Electronics store. Irving firefighters got the blaze under control around 10:30 and said the fire was contained to the room where it started. The sprinkler system kicked in which helped contain the fire.
A large fan was brought in to help get the smoke out of the mall. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
