DENTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Almost a year after construction began in central Denton drivers can expect some roads to return to normal.
North and south McCormick Street has reopened. The entrance ramp onto I-35E from North Texas Boulevard is also open again.
The McCormick Street intersection closed in the fall to revamp the bridge crossing I-35E. The bridge connects the campus entrance to the University of North Texas as well as dorms and athletic facilities on the west side of the campus.
The construction is apart of a $1.4 billion project between Highway 380 in Denton and Interstate 635 in Dallas.
