Cowboys RB Might Still Face Suspension

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Dallas Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliott could still be facing suspension by the NFL for an alleged assault from February of 2016. That’s in spite of not being charged in the incident.

The reason? The league recently changed its policy regarding domestic violence.

“They get to make that call, for any of the players now,” explains Attorney Quentin Brogdon. “They’re clamping down on domestic abuse. There was just a pattern of it.”

Elliott could be suspended as many as six games for that incident.

Earlier this week, he was allegedly involved in a fight at a bar in Uptown. We still haven’t heard if the league is looking into a suspension for that as well.
