HIGHLAND VILLAGE (WBAP/KLIF News) – A man and woman suffered burns to their bodies after ordering a flaming cocktail at a restaurant bar in Highland Village Wednesday afternoon.
Laurie Mullins with the Highland Village Police Department said the accident happened at the Shoal Creek Tavern.
“An additional ignition took place with their drink and caused major burns,” she said.
CareFlite flew the victims to Parkland hospital. They’re expected to recover.
