
DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Dallas Police have arrested a man believed to be involved in the killing of an employee of one of the largest LGBT congregations in the country.
According to WFAA-TV, Robert Lee Covington was found inside his Oak Lawn townhome with his mouth and nose duct taped. Police believe he was suffocated.
Yevin Rushing, 22, was arrested Saturday after police found Covington’s Rolex inside his vehicle. Neighbors also noticed items where gone from Covington’s home and spotted Rushing walking behind Covington’s townhome and driving a U-Haul around the area.
Rushing admitted to police the two had met on Craigslist. Covington was the executive assistant to the lead pastor at Cathedral of Hope.
