Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A raging six alarm fire destroyed several businesses in south Dallas Saturday, sending columns of thick, black smoke hundreds of feet into the sky. The blaze started in a vacant Washateria on Lancaster Road a little south of Illinois Avenue. Before it was finished it had also gutted an adjacent clothing store, a nail salon, and a check cashing business. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
