DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The State Fair of Texas kicks off in a few months and officials said they’re now accepting job applications.
The Fair is looking to fill a seasonal positions for a variety of departments and positions and the applications are available online.
The Fair’s Karissa Condoianis said the event provides more than 6,000 seasonal job opportunities each year with approximately 1500 people employed directly by the State Fair of Texas.
“The annual event is a collection of small businesses, the remaining seasonal positions report to independent contractors including concessionaires, ride operators, and vendors,” she said.
To apply for a seasonal position at the State Fair of Texas, you can visit BigTex.com/Jobs.
Condoianis said the Fair has made provisions for those who want to apply but don’t have access to a computer.
“The Fair has partnered with several local organizations who will allow the public to have access to their computer facilities in order to fill out job applications,” she said.
