Fort Worth Police Officer Arrested on Sexual Assault of a Minor Charges

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – A Fort Worth Police Officer has been arrested after being accused of sexual assault of a minor.

The arrest happened in Arlington where police say 43-year-old David Brintnell was arrested for sexual assault of a child under 17 which is a second-degree felony.

Bond was set at $50-thousand and he bonded out.

The Fort Worth Star Telegram reports Brintnell joined the Fort Worth department last year.

Details on the case have not been released.

A second-degree felony can result in a two-to-20 year prison sentence and a $10-thousand fine.
