(WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Rangers have launched an investigation into the Baylor University sexual assault allegations within the university’s football program.
The Rangers opened the investigation after being asked to look into the matter by a group of state lawmakers.
Students have reported multiple sexual assaults over the past several years and several lawsuits have been filed. Those reports also indicated that allegations were ignored.
The Department of Public Safety would only say that they are looking into the handling of the reports.
