MANSFIELD (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Mansfield teacher’s aide was fired after calling a student “she-devil” on Snapchat.
The photo shows the little girl sitting at a desk at Martha Reid Elementary School with the words printed on top of the image.
The seven-year-old girl’s mother found out about it after a friend sent her a screen shot of the picture.
The little girl has Williams Syndrome, a genetic condition that delays mental and physical developments.
The Mansfield School District released a statement in response to the incident.
“Mansfield ISD takes these types of situations very seriously and does not tolerate unacceptable behavior. After an investigation into the matter, the teacher in question no longer works for the district.”
