LITTLE ELM (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Rangers and Tarrant County Medical Examiner have determined the man who killed a Little Elm Police officer last month did not commit suicide.
Rudy Garcia was found shot inside his home on January 17, 2017 after a five hour stand-off with police. That’s when detective Jerry Walker was shot and killed.
The officers involved in the standoff will be on administrative duties until the case is presented to a grand jury. Walker was the first Little Elm Police Officer to die in the line duty.
