WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Weatherford couple is facing child endangerment charges after their baby tested positive for drugs.
Investigators said there was evidence of amphetamine, methamphetamine and marijuana in the 10-week-old boy’s system.

According to an affidavit, Child Protective Services started investigating Roy Beauchamp and Tabitha Shannon after Shannon took the baby to the hospital.
He had bruises on his face and arms.
Hospital staff told police the injuries were not consistent with the story Shannon allegedly told them.
CPS removed the child from the couple’s care and performed a drug test on the infant.
Shannon’s mother told detectives that her daughter often asked for advice on how to care for the baby.
