ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment in the murder of an Arlington woman last week.
Police said April Vancleave was killed while trying to sell jewelry to buy her 6-year-old daughter a Christmas present.
They said she arranged the sale online and went with her husband to meet her potential buyers at a Target off of South Cooper Street last Thursday around noon.
The buyers didn’t show but investigators said they followed her home.
Once her husband left, police believe the suspects attempted to rob Vancleave and shot her during the altercation. She died later at a nearby hospital.
Police have released surveillance video of two persons of interest in her murder.
Vancleave’s family set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for her funeral expenses.
She will be laid to rest on Wednesday at Eastern Gate Cemetery at 11 a.m.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call (817) 459-5735 or Crime Stoppers at (817) 469-8477.
