ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – An Arlington Police officer has resigned during an investigation into her handling of child abuse cases.
The sergeant, who was a veteran detective, has not been identified.
The Arlington Police Department said it reviewed all of her files after learning of allegations that she closed cases without investigating them.
They said at least one of the cases was not investigated properly.
The department said its administrative review is now a criminal investigation.
It’s not clear what type of charge the detective is facing.
