ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – Arlington Police arrested a woman in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and sent another to the hospital.
Jasamine Piggee allegedly drove two men to a home on Belemead near Amos Elementary School where a fight broke out and quickly escalated into a shooting.
Investigators said once the group arrived around 7 a.m. Thursday, about five people got into an argument outside the home before the homeowner shot both men.
They said the group had been involved in an ongoing feud. When officers arrived, they found one man dead and another man lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the face.
Piggee is charged with burglary with intent to commit assault. The other shooting victim was transferred to a Dallas hospital and could face charges once he’s released.
Police said the homeowner and his girlfriend will not be charged at this time and the case will be given to a Tarrant County Grand Jury to determine if the shooting was justified.
