FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) Imagine buying a house with the change you find in your couch cushions. A Fort Worth attorney is selling his historic home for $1. Wade Barrow owns the last standing house on his block at the corner of Rosedale and Washington. The 2,800 square-foot house was built in 1904. In the seventies, it was turned into a four-plex apartment building. Barrow agreed to sell the house to a developer under one condition: whoever buys it, has to have it moved. Barrow told WFAA he’s already gotten hundreds of responses and has 6 months to complete the deal.
