$10,000 Reward Offered to Help Solve Brutal East Oak Cliff Murder

maria-romero-villegasDALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward to help Dallas Police solve the murder of an East Oak Cliff woman.

The body of Maria Romero-Villegas was found on September 7th, 2016 by a boy that was walking to school past her house on Kellogg Avenue near East Keist Boulevard and Sunnyvale Street.

She had been stabbed numerous times in the neck and stomach.

Investigators said was last seen leaving her job at a taco restaurant inside an Exxon gas station on East Illinois Avenue around 10 p.m. the night before she was killed.

She had been driving a 1997 Dodge pickup truck with silver trim. Neighbors said she was planning to move to Eagle Pass the next day.

Police said they’ve exhausted all their leads and hope the hefty reward will help them find Romero-Villegas’ killer.
